Northbranch - Chondrite H5 - Description language - German

The Northbranch rock meteorite was found in 1972 in Jewell County, Kansas, USA. The weight of the piece found was 76 kg. Confirmation that it was a meteorite did not come until 1997. The classification and mineralogy was determined by A. Rubin (UCLA) and it is an H5 chondrite.
