The total amount of pieces found was approximately 500 kg, with the largest piece weighing 115 kg and is kept in the Museum of Tatarstan in Russia. The meteorite is classified as an H4 chondrite.

The meteorite is also sometimes referred to as Taborg, Tabory, Okhansk or Tabojskoye Selo.
