The meteorite, officially named Sericho, was found in 2016 in Isiolo County, Kenya. These are pieces weighing up to 500 kg. The structural classification of the meteorite is pallasite with a low degree of weathering. The total reported mass of the pieces found is approximately 2,800 kg, but in reality it will be much higher.
The meteorite is in the form of incised slices, in which their structure with olivines and metal matrix clearly stands out. The slices may be coated with a layer of anti-corrosion epoxy resin or lacquer. They are stored in a plastic box with a label or a transparent 3D box, of course with a label.
